I was born and raised in Stockholm. After studying three-dimensional form and textile form at Nyckelviksskolan, I moved to Copenhagen to pursue a degree in Production design from The Danish Design School. I started my freelance career after graduating with a MA in Production Design. Since then my work has included direction, videography, editing, compositing, art direction, photography, and visual artwork.
Images are so important, whether they are still photographs or on film. When I take a picture, I try to catch a certain kind of moment in time. These moments are beautiful, whether that beauty is obvious, dramatic, or unexpected.
I am inspired to create moving images because the possibilities of capturing an atmosphere, a story, and genuine emotions on camera are even greater. In film, every detail is crucial to the success of a project.
To illustrate my character, I would quote Massimo Vignelli from the documentary Helvetica: “The life of the designer is a life of fight… fight against the ugliness. Just like a doctor fights against disease. For us visual disease is what we have around and what we try to do is to cure somehow it with design.”
